There are many reasons why companies exhibit, here are 5 typical ones but yours may be quite different
So our top tip number one is Write a list of your reasons.
It will help you understand what is important to the stand.
Why are we exhibiting at this show? Tip 2 is to Ask yourself the following. . .
The answers to these questions will identify your objectives and shape your stand design brief.
An exhibition is a unique selling environment. You have a very short time to convey who you are and what you do and the benefit of your product/service.
So Tip 3 is always keep the stand design requirements very focused and clear - do not try to do everything a brochure or advert can do, avoid trying to show everything. You need to attract people to your stand. Clutter is not attractive.
Build upon your identity in the market and your core message to re-assure the visitors why you are there. Exchanging more detailed information will come in the 'one to one' visitor meetings you have on the stand. But you need to get them onto your stand first, so get their attention, interest and engagement and the rest will follow.
Undestand the design process.
Our first design for you will show how the space is best used and the various viewing angles and traffic flow. It will also help you to see how much space you have for formal and informal meetings, demonstrations and display.
Once we agree the basic layout we move onto the detailed drawings which we submit to the organisers for approval to build.
Finall, once the architecture of the stand is approved, we can discuss the colours, materials, finishes and graphics.
